Bhavna is from the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, which is identified as one of the most backward regions. She was a graduate in commerce and was keen on joining the banking industry. She attended the 'Careers in Banking'in her college, organized by Shraddha Shiksha Prasar Evam Jan Kalyan Samiti, and got to know of job opportunities available in the local areas. Bhavna enrolled in the Banking Programme from Shraddha Shiksha Prasar Evam Jan Kalyan Samiti. During the course, she was trained in banking operations. Bhavna was placed with HDFC Bank and got posted in the Noida branch itself to work as an executive.!
